Cozumel 1982 |

| Joni and I have always loved traveling. One of our first trips to Cozumel was in 1982 to celebrate the end of the school year. We fell in love with Mexico, and have made many trips back since then. These pictures were taken during our 1982 trip. | ||||

These pictures were taken in the town square of San Miguel. We loved going into town for the day. Our favorite restaurants were Morgan's, Pepe's Grill, and Las Palmeros Mariscos Steak House. |

 These two shots were taken at La Cabanas which was about 100 yards from our hotel. We would go there for breakfast and they would serve the best pan dulce in the world. We would take the entire basket and throw what we did not want to the fish. There must have been thousands of them, and it was obvious that they liked the bread as much as we did. |

We loved our hotel, The Cozumel Caribe. I have no idea if it is even still there, but it was a great hotel with some fantastic views. |

| These were taken at Chancannab Lagoon and the beach across the street from it. Now the park is protected by the Mexican government, but back then it was a place where you would ride to via a motor scooter and snorkel or dive to your hearts content. | ||||
