1 pkg. Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe French Vanilla Cake Mix

2 Cups Pecan Pieces (Chopped

1 Pkg. (4 serving size) vanilla instant pudding

4 eggs

1 cup water

1/3 Cup Crisco Oil

 

1-Preheat oven to 350°.

2-Grease & flour two 9” cake pans.

3-Combine Cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water, and oil in a large bowl.

Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.

4-Fold in 1 ½ cups of the pecans.

5-Pour into pans.

6-Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes.

7-Cool in pans for 15-minutes.

8-Invert onto cooling rack

 

Ice with Cream Cheese Frosting

 

1 8oz. pkg. cream cheese (softened)

½ cup unsalted butter (softened)

1 ½ teaspoons vanilla

1 16oz.package powdered sugar

 

1-beat cream cheese, butter & vanilla until smooth

2-gradually add powdered sugar

3-Garnish cake with remaining ½ cup of pecans.
